Nashville Unsigned is presenting A Black Tie Charity Event for Michaela Sheranko. There will be raffles and also live entertainment from David Borne, Devon Gilfillian, Alaina Cross, and The Western Sons.
Tickets are $15 and will be available at the door the night of the event while they last. 18+
Michaela has been struggling with Lyme Disease for at least seven years. When her pain was too unbearable to manage, she had to take a break from chasing her dreams of pursuing music. She has received various treatments and worked with several doctors. Although these treatments helped minimally, they began taking a tremendous toll on her body. She made the decision with the help of her medical team, to undergo Integrative Stem Cell Treatment May 29.
This treatment is specifically for Lyme Disease and will hopefully repair her damaged body and build her immune system. Unfortunately, this treatment, like the others, is not covered by insurance and outside funding is limited. A portion of all proceeds from the benefit show will go toward her stem cell treatment and her non-profit, I Love The Way You Lyme.
Not only is this benefit show aiming to assist Sheranko with her stem cell treatment, but she’s also hoping to bring awareness to Lyme Disease and to her non-profit I Love The Way You Lyme.
This non-profit is dedicated to presenting hope and providing support for people struggling with this commonly misdiagnosed disease. The purpose of ILTWYL is to raise awareness, advocate early detection and directly invest into treatment and recovery.
“I’m hoping to bring my non-profit, I Love The Way You Lyme to light and use it as a way to connect with others who are suffering with this disease,” she said. “No one has to fight this alone.”
